Hi I’m Sonia, the creative behind the Dreadlocks Society. ​

My loc love began in high school, but I knew nothing of techniques, crocheting, maintenance and the necessity of really freaking great quality products for really freaking great locs.

​

Dreadlocks, to me, are more than just hair.

They are a commitment, a lifestyle, a spiritual journey. 

​

Finally I took the plunge with an amazing and gentle Adelaide loctician. From here I dove deep into the journey. I unearthed the connection with nature, spirit, strength and community behind dreads. I am proud to stand behind this beautiful dreadlock hair care product and community.
